Roy Ash - a top administration economic adviser says the nation can expect “a
long difficult battle” probably as long as two years - before inflation is reduced to
a reasonable level.
Richard Nixon’s son-in-law,
David Eisenhower
said the former President faces ‘very direct and
very threatening” legal and financial problems as
a private citizen. “Right now, they’re working a
two things: they’re trying to make a book decision
and they’re fighting a legal battle” said
Eisenhower.
Westinghouse electric Corp asks its corporate
customers to voluntarily pay more for $200 worth
of goods already on order. The company said
soaring costs of everything from steel to plastics
had eaten up profits on millions of dollars of
heavy electrical products ordered months ago but
sill not shipped to customers.
Shatters all records - America’s triplesonic SR-71 spy plane streaked from New
