The Bush Administration says it will consider ever
option, including the use of military force, to prevent
Gen. Manuel A. Noriega from stealing Panama’s
presidential election.
President Bush says he will send nearly 2,000
troops to Panama to protect American citizens and
the strategic Panama Canal. He says “we will not be
intimidated by the bullying tactics of Gen. Manuel A.
Noreiga.”
President Bush says that the Panama Defense
Forces and the Panamanian people should rise up
and overthrow military strongman Manuel Noreiga
by any means possible.
Bush administration officials have “censored” a scientists planned testimony on
global warming to downplay the seriousness of the problem, Sen. Al Gore Jr.
charges.
Music news -
MTV refused to air Graham parker’s “Soul Corruption” video because it contains
the word “nigger.”
Soap actor Michael Damian, who has
a hit with a remake of “Rock On” - has
an album coming out - “Where Do We
Go From Here” - which is a line from
the song.
The singles sales down - the RIAA
recently dropped the sales requirement
for a gold single from 1 million to
500,000.
Passing - Country hit maker Keith
Whitley - found dead at his home of
accidental acute alcohol poisoning. He
was 33. His blood alcohol content
registered .47. He was married to
country music singer Lori Morgan and
they had one child - Jesse Keith

He was 86. He came to the club in 1964, from the famed “Blue Angel” nightspot

Actor John Malkovich has left the production of “Crazy People” for personal
reasons.
Passing - Guy Williams in Argentina. He was 65. He
apparently suffered a heart attack. He’s best known for
his TV roles in “Zorro” and “Lost in Space.” Real name
- Armando Catalano.
Eddie Murphy is sued for $75 million by actress
Michael Michele Williams who alleges that Murphy had
her fired from “Harlem Nights because she spurned
advances.
Palimony suite - Actress Sandra Locke files against
longtime boyfriend Clint Eastwood. Both say they have strong cases. They’ve
been together for 13 years.
No Janet Waldo - Singer Tiffany will be the
new voice of Judy Jetson in a new animated
feature movie, “The Jetsons.” Tiffany also sings
three songs from the movie’s soundtrack.

Wayne Gretzky hosts with musical guests the

On Cable Lifetime - don’t miss “Women of
Night” with comics Ellen DeGeneres, Paula

After seven years - “Family Ties” airs its final
episode -70 minutes that sees Alex finally leaving home for a Wall Street. Also
“Moonlighting” airs its final episode this week.
Christina Ferrare is leaving as co-host of “A.M. Los Angeles” over KABC-TV.

after allegations made last week on her syndicated talk show that some Jews
practice ritual killing of children.
