Technology -
South Korean Lim Jeong-hyun becomes a cyber sensation in that his YouTube
video was seen by 40 million viewers. He did a guitar rock rendition of
Pachelbel’s Canon.
TiVo - the digital video recorder maker, announces that its customers would be
able to watch YouTube videos on their TV’s using one model of TiVo’s set-top
box sometime this year. Monthly - 66 million viewers watch about 2.6 billion
videos on YouTube, accounting for about 57% of the 116.7 million monthly online
video audience.
Apple Inc. says more than 100,000 software kits had been downloaded in the last
week by developers interested in creating programs for the iPhone.

Katezenberg says about 1,200 screens
worldwide were currently capable of 3-D
exhibition, but he opens that 3,000 to 5,000
would be equipped when “Monsters” came
out.” Katezenburg says he was impressed
with Walt Disney’s 3-D “Hannah
Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds
Concert Tour, which opened to $31.3
million in ticket sales.
Warner Bros. Pictures and Harry Potter
producers say that the seventh and final
novel in the series will be split into two
films. “Harry Potter and the Deathly
Hallows: Part I” will hit theaters in November 2010, followed by “Part II” in May
2011. So far all five Harry Potter movies have grossed an astounding $4.5
billion.
