Millions turn out for memorial
observance in Spain in the face of
Spain’s worst terrorist attack. Nearly
200 were killed and 1,500 wounded.
Spanish police have arrested three Moroccans in the train bombings in Madrid.
They are believed tied to Islamic extremism and are now among five being held
for the bombings.
Troubled area - W.S. marines fire back at gunmen in Port-Au-Prince Haiti and the
Pentagon announces that it was expanding the mission to allow U.S. troops to
forcefully stop violence among Haitians.
Critics are describing the effort to rebuild Iraq as a process rife with poor
oversight, questionable spending and long delays that endanger the country’s
security.

A new radio network with a total liberal slant - Air
America will launch March 31. Look for Al
Franken and Janeane Garfalo to be hosts. The
network is leasing time on some stations such as
WLIB New York and KBLA, Los Angeles.
