in Nicaragua.
Michael Milken, the Drexel Burnham Lambert junk bond king is indicted on
federal racketeering, insider trading and other securities fraud counts.
Defense Secretary dick Cheney says that the “star Wars” missile defense
program was “oversold” by the Reagan Administration and will likely suffer
substantial budget cuts.
First Lady Barbara Bush , suffering from
swollen eyes and weight loss, has been found to
have Graves’ disease, a disorder of excess
thyroid hormone production.
