Medical news - Tampons Toxic ? - The Center For
Disease Control in Atlanta announces this week that
Tampons have been associated with a puzzling illness known
as toxic shock syndrome that strikes young women,
sometimes fatally. Tampons are believed to be implicated
because they may cause an abrasion of the lining of the
vagina wall, allowing the S. aureus to enter the bloodstream. Also, because they
dam the natural flow, tampons may create a good culture medium for the growth
of bacteria.

telling me it was just a matter of time before I made it
big. You need momentum but I was just having a hit
here and a hit there. I’d end up playing places and I
didn’t really know why I was there. I remember I played
New Orleans in a 3,000-seater and there were only 500
people there. That’s really demoralizing. There was too
much of that kind of thing. I guess I wasn’t in great
dental shape then either. A bell went off in my head and told me “You gotta stop
now or be consumed by this stupideness.”
