A woman whose husband committed suicide, plunges with her seven children
from an 11 story hotel balcony in Salt Lake City in what police say may be a
bizarre religious act. The father, who had committed suicide several days ago,
was the leader of an obscure religious sect. The mother threw four of the kids
(one by one) off the hotel balcony, some of which were crying and screaming.
The mother and two others jumped last. Six of the seven died immediately.

such time as the vessels are properly equipped and crew members properly
trained to accommodate their female counterparts.”
