as a focus of investigations into death squads working within the country.

Earthlink says it will offer DirecTV satellite service in a bundled option to select
markets across the U.S.
Amazon.com is in advanced talks with four major music companies on starting a
digital music service as soon as possible to compete with Apple. They want to
create a viable rival to iTunes.
Sports -
John McEnroe completes his ATP tour comeback. Teaming with Joanas
Bjorkman - they won the finals of the SAP Open in San Jose.
Steroid-tainted Barry Bonds says he may retire after this season.
Winter games in Italy - Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto score the first figure
skating medal for the United States. In Men’s hockey - Slovakia beats the U.S.
2-1.

‘60’s pop group “The Cowsills.” He had
suffered from emphysema.
Kayne West confirms he’s developing a TV
show for HBO. “It’s fictional and loosely based
on my life. Maybe this will give me the
