the sole candidate for the Republican nomination. Mike Huckabee, still in, is
considered a minor obstacle.
Sen. Obama wins Louisiana, Nebraska and Washington. On the Republican side
- Mike Huckabee wins Kansas and Louisiana.
Sen. Obama says that as president, he would spend $210 billion to create jobs in
construction and environmental industries.
General Motors posts a $38.7 billion loss for 2007 - a record for any auto
manufacture.
Back Obama wins in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia, as does

Technology -
Yahoo Inc. buys Maven Networks Inc. for about $160 million to expand its
footprint in the first-growing online video advertising market.
Starbucks Corp. and AT&T Inc will begin offering a mix of free and paid wireless
Internet service in most of the coffee retailer’s U.S. shops beginning this spring.
The move ends a six-year partnership with T-Mobile, which did not include free
Wi-Fi and charged higher fees than AT&T will.
Documents dating from the Civil war and others to and from Presidents Theodore
and Franklin Roosevelt are among hundreds of stolen documents sold online that
EBay is agreeing to buy back and return to New York’s archives.
