President Bush said that despite a new intelligence assessment concluding Iran
had halted its nuclear weapons program, the country still posed a danger and
must stop enriching uranium. A report said that Iran had halted their nuclear push
in 2003.
The Bush administration says it will release a plan that is expected to block many
mortgages from adjusting to higher rates for as long as five years.
At least 22 Iraqis are killed in four car bombings across the country - the most
lethal strike in Iraq in months.
Letter to North Korea - President Bush sends Kim Jong II a hand-signed letter
reminding him of his commitment to disclose the details of his country’s nuclear
